Nowadays the people especially the new generation has become very active and interested in knowing more about their family history. This is the reason that they are looking for sources that help them to get familiar with the distant family members, cousins and ancestors. A family tree is one of the best mediums to find out our family history, its background and about the ancestors as well. 

What is a family tree or Shijra?
In simple language, a family tree is a hierarchy which shows all the family members together and how they are associated with one another. The younger generation of today has no idea about the relatives and distant members, therefore a family tree can be a superb way to help them identify the people. This not only enhances their knowledge but they find themselves close to the family as well. Creating the tree is very simple as it begins from the head of the family followed by other members in the right order. The members and then followed by their siblings and so on.

“ APNO KI TLASH” is an effort to link the broken/missing chain of the family. As we are aware that Iraqi Biradri is a close netted society and most are linked to each other as a close or distant relative. Hence it is easier to collect family data in this fast communication era.
